Super Green Smoothie

Serves 1 | Time 5 minutes

Ingredientsā 

  • ½ Carrot

  • ¼ Cucumber

  • 100 grams Kale Leaves (1 cup or 1 large handful)

  • ¼ Avocado

  • ½ Apple (chopped)

  • 1 Banana

  • 250 ml Unsweetened Almond Milk (or another non-dairy alternative)

  • 25 grams Protein Powder (or 1 scoop)

Methodā 

1.      Chop all the vegetables and fruit into large chunks, then place into a blender and blend until broken up.

2.      Now add the almond milk and protein powder to the blender, and blend for 10-15 seconds more or until desired consistency is reached.

Hint:

For convenience and a colder smoothie, prepare your fruit by washing, peeling, and cutting it into small, individual portions. Place the prepared fruit in airtight containers or resealable bags and store them in the freezer. By doing this ahead of time, you will save time in the morning and have pre-portioned servings ready to use for your smoothie.
